In our last show we mentioned how you should not donate/dispose of your computer without having the Hard Disk Drive (HDD) properly erased. Remember, deleting a file does not mean that the data has disappeared. It might not be visible from your application or file explorer but it is still on the HDD.

In the story, there is a section that talks about how information that people did not properly erase could be retrieved.
